South Metro MVA
On March 10th, 2026 at 13:33 South Metro Fire Rescue and West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a MVA involving a structure at the QuikTrip, 2338 W. Belleview Ave. in Littleton. Engine 13 arrived to a MVA with a semi-truck and trailer into a passenger vehicle which was impacted into the building which caused a partial wall collapse. Littleton Police officers and bystanders were able to extricate the single occupant of the passenger vehicle and move them to safety prior to firefighters arriving. Technical rescue teams from South Metro and West Metro Fire Rescue worked together to stabilize the building to ensure the scene was safe for responders and occupants. Five employees and approximately 25 customers inside the business were able to evacuate safely, and no injuries were reported among those inside the building. One occupant from the passenger vehicle was transported by Medic 12 to a local hospital. The driver of the commercial carrier declined medical treatment. Both vehicles were removed from the building by approximately 16:45. The structure has been turned over to the property owners and has been closed indefinitely.
