Longmont Highway 66 Grass Fire

On April 12th, 2026 just after 13:00 Boulder County Communications Center dispatched Mountain View Fire Rescue to a agricultural ditch burn that escaped containment on the north side of Hwy. 66 near Linda Vista Drive in north Longmont. Crews responded quickly and after helping to regain containment, the ditch runners continued their burn with assistance from firefighters.
