Westminster House Fire

On July 14th, 2026 around 18:00 Westminster Fire Department, North Metro Fire Rescue District and Thornton Fire Department were dispatched to a structure fire in the 13300 block of Mariposa St. in Westminster. Engine 6 arrived with nothing showing and investigation while Engine 64 staged at the hydrant. Once entering the house crews found was visible smoke and Engine 6 pulled a 1 3/4″ line with Medic 6 for fire attack on Division 1 side Delta while Engine 64 laid in a 5″ supply line to Engine 6. Truck 74 arrived and completed primary search on 1st, 2nd and basement floors. Battalion 62 arrived and took over command from Engine 6. Medic 64 was assigned medical, Engine 66 conducted a 360 and secured the utilities. The fire was quickly knocked down and ventilation. The fire is under investigation by the Westminster Fire Marshal’s office. No injuries were reported. Additional information provided by Westminster Fire Department
