West Metro Structure Fire

On July 28th, 2026 at 21:00 West Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a possible structure fire in the 13600 Block of W. Princeton Drive in Jefferson County. Jeffcom 911 advised that 911 caller reporting smoke from the 2nd floor. Engine 11 arrived to light smoke showing from a small two-story residential and pulled a 1 3/4 for fire attack and established their own water supply. Tower 10 started the primary search and District 2 assumed command. Crews found a small fire had started in a bedroom on the 2nd floor, but the occupant extinguished the fire before crews arrived and everyone had vacated the home safety. After further investigations, crews located a small burned area in a bedroom on the 2nd floor. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
