Johnstown Odor Investigation

At approximately 21:02 on October 22nd, 2018 Loveland Emergency Communications Center (LECC) dispatched Loveland Fire Rescue Authority Battalion 1, Engine 6, and Ladder 6 to the 5200 block of Ronald Reagan Blvd. in Johnstown on the report of a gas odor in a commercial building. Upon arrival Engine 6 took command and made entry to the building to investigate, ladder crew 2 reported no odor in the building, the gas meters didn’t indicate any flow, and gas monitors didn’t register any dangerous levels in the building. The building was turned back to a responsible party on scene and units cleared. Additional information was provided by Ian Zahn
