Grand Junction Camper Fire

On March 26th, 2008 at approximately 17:30 Grand Junction Fire Department was dispatched to a reported vehicle fire in Orchard Mesa. Unit arrive on scene and found that a pickup truck with a camper was on fire. The fire had spread to a nearby car and other debris on the ground in the area. Firefighters were on scene about an hour extinguishing the fire, mopping up and assist the person residing in the camper. No injuries we’re reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
