Grand Junction Flower Shop Fire

On January 6th, 2009 at approximately 05:30 Grand Junction Fire Department was dispatched to a reported commercial structure fire at Johnson’s House of Flowers, 1350 N. Grand Ave. Crews arrived on scene and found heavy smoke coming from the building. Firefighters were on scene about ninety minutes extinguishing the fire, checking for extension and ventilating the building. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
