Around 17:00 on January 14th, 2009 Littleton Fire Rescue responded to accident at the Aspen Grove shopping center at 7301 S. Santa Fe Dr. Crews arrived to find a shuttle bus that hit a pole in the parking lot, and with several patients and the call was upgraded to MCI incident. The bus was from the Riverpoint Senior Apartment Community with 19 senior citizens on board when the accident happened. Several patients were transported to local hospitals and one patient that was transported later died later. Additional information provided by Littleton Fire Rescue
