Rural / Metro / Pridemark, proud to be the exclusive 911 ambulance provider for Aurora Fire Rescue, and provides 911 backup for Denver Fire Department, West Metro Fire Rescue, Westminster Fire Department, Buckley Fire & Emergency Services and Arvada Fire Protection District, backup ambulance service for Littleton Fire Rescue, and Highlands Ranch, and are the primary 911 provider in Boulder County.
In 2010, Rural/Metro acquired Pridemark Paramedic Services, which was the exclusive 911 ambulance provider in the cities and areas of Arvada, Boulder, Edgewater, Fairmount and Wheat Ridge.
Rural / Metro has merged with American Medical Response (AMR) in 2015
