West Metro Fire Rescue held an open house and dedicated ceremony of their new Station 10 on October 10th, 2009. Fire Station 10 is located at 3535 S. Kipling St. and the response area is Bear Creek, The Homestead, Jefferson Green and includes C-470 & Highway 285. Station 10 is also part of the West Metro Technical Rescue Team, and co-located with the Training Center, and Colorado Task Force 1 (Urban Search & Rescue).
