Denver I-25 Dog Rescue
On March 27th, 2010 at approximately 11:00 am the Denver Fire Department was dispatched to a reported animal assist on southbound I-25 near University Boulevard. Truck 16 arrived on scene and found that a dog had been hit by a car. Firefighters were able to stabilize the dog, give it oxygen and package him for transport. The dog was turned over to Denver Animal Control.
