Genesee Chimney Fire

On January 22nd, 2011 around 18:30 Genesee Fire Protection District responded to a possible structure fire in the 900 block of Arrow Wood Dr. off Genesee Trail Rd. Crews found fire that escaped the firebox through a split seam and worked its way into the wood siding on the east side of the home. The fire was contained to the east side of the house. A couple of firefighters were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries. Mutual-aid from Foothills Fire Protection District was also requested.
