Denver Attic Fire

On October 19th, 2012 at 13:05 Denver Fire Department was dispatched to a outside smoke investigation at 555 Blackhawk Way in Montbello. Crews arrived and found smoke showing from the roof, prompting dispatch to fill the group to a structure fire. Engine 29 laid in while Truck 2 extended to the roof, Engine 9 assigned as RIT. All searches proved negative and the fire was located in the attic area with little extension. The fire was quickly knocked and companies began picking up within 30 minutes. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
