James Davies Memorial

Lakewood Police Department Agent James Jeffery Davies funeral was held on November 15th, 2012 at the Denver First Church of the Nazarene in Cherry Hills Village. Thousands gathered at the church including first responders from police departments from all over the state and beyond. After the service followed by a large procession which traveled to the Jefferson County Fairgrounds for a private memorial. Davies was tragically killed in the line of duty on November 9th, 2012 at age 35 and was the first officer to be killed in the line of duty in the department’s history.
