High Plains Honor Flight

The High Plains Honor Flight was held on April 28th, 2024 with the Escort of Heroes from The Ranch Events Complex to the Northern Colorado Regional Airport through portions of Loveland and Windsor with 120 veterans making the trip to visit the memorials in Washington D.C. at no cost to the veterans. Numerous first responder agencies positioned personnel and apparatus along the route leading into the airport with the aerial ladder flag display. Some of the departments in attendance: Loveland Fire Rescue Authority, Windsor-Severance Fire Rescue, Berthoud Fire Protection District, Poudre Fire Authority, Eaton Fire Protection District, Evans Fire Protection District, Thompson Valley EMS, Med-Evac, UC Health LifeLine, Med Evac, Larimer County Sheriff Emergency Services, Larimer County Sheriff’s Office, Colorado State Patrol, Loveland Police Department with numerous other northern Colorado law enforcement agencies.
