Around 09:25 on August 20th, 2012 Loveland Fire Rescue Authority responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash on southbound I-25 just south of Hwy. 34 near mile marker 256. A white pickup was traveling southbound on I-25 when it lost control and rolled landing on the center guard rail.  The towed trailer also rolled and threw its load of masonry materials all over the interstate. The LFRA Special Operations Team was put on standby and hazmat teams were called out to clean up the mess, but were later stood down. Southbound I-25 traffic was down to one lane for a couple hours while the exact cause of the crash was investigated. It is believed that an improperly balanced load on the trailer caused the driver to loose control. The driver was not injured in the incident.
