North Metro Kitchen Fire

At 16:49 on March 17th, 2012 North Metro Fire Rescue District responded to a structure fire in the 900 block of 115th Pl. in Northglenn. Engine 63 arrived to a two-story residence with smoke showing from the eves, and advanced a line in the offensive mode with Medic 63 and requested a major incident tone. After a 360 Engine 63 reported a working kitchen fire. Battalion 61 arrived and took over command. Interior crews found extension into the attic and all searches proved negative. Two Northglenn Police officers were evaluated on scene by paramedics, but no transport was needed.  No other injuries were reported and investigators were called to the scene.
