Just before 16:00 on April 6th, 2012 Thornton Fire Department was alerted to a MVA behind the Wal-Mart at 7101 E. 128th Ave. with reports of one person trapped and children on board. Engine 75 requested an additional engine and medic. Engine 75 arrived to find a single vehicle accident with a car on its side. Crews conducted a quick extrication of the driver who was transported with minor injuries. Investigators believed that the driver struck the curb then rolled.
