White Ranch Wildland Fire

Around 10:00 on May 28th, 2012 Golden Gate Fire Protection DistrictFairmount Fire Protection District responded to a reported wildland fire in the White Ranch Open Space between Belcher Hill Rd. and Glencoe Valley Rd. Crews arrived to smoke showing and hiked in to find a fire burning about half-mile into the open space east of the Rawhide Loop Trail. Crews got control and started overhaul with hot spots without spreading. No other information is available.
