Glendale 3rd Alarm Fire

Around 23:30 on December 14th, 2013 Denver Fire Department was alerted to a working structure fire at E. Kentucky Ave. and S. Dexter St in Glendale, with dispatch advising that multiple 911 calls. Crews arrived to heavy fire at a under construction site for a multifamily apartment complex, and a 2nd alarm was requested, with heavy fire conditions a 3rd alarm was called. Crews got the fire under control at 00:10, and around 100 residents from the nearby apartments evacuated as a precaution. The fire is under investigation and no injuries were reported.
