On June 21st, 2014 at approximately 08:00 Denver Fire Department was dispatched to a hazardous materials incident at the Colorado Human Services Building, 1575 Sherman St. Firefighters arrived on scene and found that a container of ammonia in the basement had been turned over due to flooding. The department’s hazardous materials team was called to the scene to assist. Crews were on scene about ninety minutes neutralizing the hazard. No injuries were reported.
