At 11:28 on February 16th, 2014 Thornton Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at the Pine Lakes Ranch Mobile Home Park, 10201 Riverdale Rd. Crews arrived to smoke showing from a mobile home and started fire attack. The fire was quickly put under control with one patient being transported and pronounced dead at the hospital. One dog was rescued in the fire and survived with unknown injuries. No other information is available at this time.
