Pro Cycling Challenge 2014

Wheat Ridge Fire Protection District spent part of their day on August 24th, 2014 assisting with the 2014 USA Pro Cycling Challenge. The challenge, one of the largest cycling events in the United States, featured the best of the best in professional cycling, competing on a challenging course through some of America’s most beautiful scenery. The seven-day event began in Aspen on August 18th, 2014 and culminated in Civic Center Park in downtown Denver on August 24th, 2014. Wheat Ridge firefighters assisted Wheat Ridge Police Department with road closures and traffic control as the race made its way along West 32nd Ave. and around Crown Hill Regional Park.
