Denver House Fire

At 20:440 on December 16th, 2015 Denver Fire Department was dispatched to a reported house on fire in the 4100 block of Zenobia St. Engine 17 arrived to a single-story single-family home with smoke showing on the Charlie side of the structure, secured their own water supply, and laid in from the plug at W. 41st Ave. to the alley for fire attack. Chief 6 arrived and took over command. Engine 12 arrived and set-up a back-up line, Engine 7 established a second water supply, and then assigned as search. Truck 12 forced entry, and reported heavy fire on the Charlie-Bravo side, Tower 9 arrived and split crews with vent and search. Chief 2 was assigned as safety, and Rescue 1 went to the roof. All searched proved negative, and the fire was out at 21:12. The American Red Cross was requested for three displaced residents. No injures were reported and the cause is under investigation.
