Wheat Ridge Apartment Fire

Just after 17:00 on June 24th, 2015 Wheat Ridge Fire Protection District with auto-aid from Fairmount Fire Protection District responded to a structure fire at 3715 Pierce St. Engine 73 arrived to a single-story multi-family apartment building with smoke showing and started fire attack. Engine 71 laid in, Tower 72 assigned as search, and Engine 33 was assigned as RIT. Crews opened up and found smoke in the attic, and crews got a quick knock on the fire. All searched proved negative and crews started salvage and overhaul operations. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation. American Red Cross was request to the scene assist.

Fairmount: Battalion 32 & Engine 33
