Brighton Brush Fire

On November 13th, 2016 Brighton Fire Rescue District was dispatched out to a brush fire at E. 144th Ave. & Picadilly Rd. by the Barr Lake State Park. The fire burned over 300 acres and burned two sheds. South Adams County Fire Department and Bennett-Watkins Fire Rescue also responded with mutual-aid support. The fire is under investigation.
