Commerce City Residential Fire

At approximately 11:00 on April 11th, 2016, the South Adams County Fire Department was dispatched to a residential structure fire at 6820 Niagra St. in Commerce City. The first responding unit arrived on scene and found smoke and flames coming from a one-story clapboard residence. Firefighters hit a hydrant across the street and were able to quickly extinguish a fire in a back bedroom. No injuries were reported and the cause it under investigation.
