Denver Structure Fire

On June 22nd, 2016 at 08:58 Denver Fire Department was alerted to a structure fire in the 650 block of Grant St. in Capital Hill. Dispatched advised units enroute that fire is in a vacant structure. Engine 11 arrived on scene with smoke showing and laid in from W. 7th Ave. and pulled a line in for fire attack. Engine 1 laid in from W. 6th Ave. and Tower 9 laddered the roof. Tower 1 preformed a primary search and Engine 3 pulled a attack line to the Charlie side. Crews found a connected structure with smoke inside, and crews got the fire under control quickly with some extension in the attic from both structures. The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation.
