Denver Apartment Fire

At 08:15 on May 12th, 2016 Denver Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire in the 4300 block of S. Quebec St. Dispatch advised that several 911 callers reporting possible shots fired, and flames visible after explosions. Tower 22 arrived to heavy fire showing from the 3rd floor of an occupied apartment building. Engine 22 laid in and advanced a line in for fire attack in the offensive strategy. Truck 16 was assigned to position at the Alpha-Bravo corner and ladder the building. Denver Police reported that 2 serious burn victims left the scene after an apparent hash oil cooking incident. Crews got the fire quickly under control, and all searches proved negative. One firefighters and one civilian were injured and transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries. Additional information was provided by Denver Fire Department.
