Denver House Fire

At 14:32 on May 5th, 2016 Denver Fire Department was alerted to a possible house at 2550 Kearney St. in North Park Hill. Engine 14 arrived to a single-story single-family residence with heavy fire showing from the Charlie side, pulled a 1 3/4 attack line in the offensive strategy. Crews worked unsafe conditions inside the structure, Engine 26 attacked the fire from the Charlie side and Truck 26 set-up aerial master stream operations. Engine 14 established a water supply and pulled a 1 3/4 line to the Charlie side, and Tower 15 assigned as search. Engine 10 arrived and pulled in a back-up line. Chief 4 arrived and assumed command and requested additional truck company to the scene. Truck 8 arrived and assigned with roof ventilation. Crews got fire under control and started an extensive overhaul. Additional information provided by Denver Fire Department.
