Mobile Home Fire

Just before 09:00 on July 31st, 2016 Adams County Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported structure fire in the Franklin Mobile Home Park at 1616 E. 78th Ave. in Welby. Engine 14 arrived on scene, hit a hydrant across the street and initiated offensive operations.  Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire, ventilate the building and rescue the family dog, which had been hiding under a bed. Firefighters suspect the fire may have started in a window mounted air conditioning unit.  No injuries were reported.

 Units on Scene: Battalion 11, Engine 11, Medic 11, Engine 13, Medic 13, Engine 14 & Medic 14

  1. I just want to thank everyone who helped with this incident, I am the owner of this home and if it wasn’t for the firefighters to quickly put out this fire in my home, I would have lost everything. Thanks so much, and God bless all!!
