Adams County Brush Fire

Adams County Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported brush fire behind several homes in the 7800 block of Downing Street on September 4th, 2017. Firefighters arrived on scene within minutes and found flames in a wooded along the neighborhood greenbelt, South Adams County Fire Department also responded. Crews were able to quickly extinguish the blaze using hose lines and hand tools. No damage was reported to any of the nearby homes and the cause is under investigation.
