Coal Creek Canyon Fire Protection District held an open house at Station 4, 34697 Gap Road, on November 4th 2017. The department opened its doors to meet with local residents, show them more about their organization and help recruit new volunteers. Community members were able to meet with firefighters, check out the apparatus, and tour the station. The department provided barbeque sandwiches, s’mores, a scavenger hunt, fire truck rides and applications.
