Fatal House Fire

 Denver Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 4900 block of W. 10th Ave. on December 24th, 2017 in the West Colfax area. Crews arrived to heavy smoke showing from a small one-story single-family residential and started fire attack. Crews worked heavy fire conditions and got the main body of fire extinguished, and worked to extinguish hidden pockets of fire prior to investigation. Firefighters found a victim inside that was a deceased, and Denver Police Department conducted the death investigation with Denver Fire investigators. Additional information was provided by Denver Fire Department
