Aurora Polar Plunge 2017

Westerra Credit Union hosted a 2017 Polar Plunge on February 11th, 2017 at Aurora Reservoir. Hundreds of local plungers took to the frigid water to help raise funds for Special Olympics Colorado. Firefighters from Aurora Fire Rescue Station 8 were on hand with the Heavy Rescue unit to keep participants safe both in and around the water. Additional plunges were or will be held in Avon, Denver, Pueblo, Fort Collins, Boulder and Colorado Springs. Please visit Special Olympics for more information.
