Grand Junction MVA

Just after 00:00 on October 13th, 2017 Grand Junction Fire Department Engine 5 and Ambulance 3 were dispatched to a reported MVA at Broadway and Village Way. Engine 5 arrived to vehicle vs power pole with lines down and compromised power poles along the road. The vehicle involved caught fire. Battalion 1 was requested to the scene for an escalating incident and command. A second engine was requested to control the East End for fire control. A third engine in was requested to position resources North, East and West and Tender 5 was brought in for mobile water supply. The occupant was reported to have been trapped with live wires and was unable to exit the vehicle before becoming fully involved.
