Old Sugar Mill Fire

On December 25th, 2017 at 02:54 Longmont Fire Department and Mountain View Fire Rescue responded to a possible structure fire at the abandoned old Sugar Mill in Longmont. Firefighters arrived on scene to one section of the property on the south side fully involved. Crews were able to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading throughout the rest of the property. The Sugar Mill property has had several fires in the past on December 9th, 2020 and September of 2016. The cause is under investigation. Additional information provided by Mountain View Fire Rescue
