Arvada Swift Water Rescue Training

Arvada Fire Protection District held swift water rescue skills with Engine 52, Rescue 54, North Metro Fire Rescue District, and North Area Tech Rescue Team with other local fire departments on June 6th, 2018 on Clear Creek in Golden. The members concentrated on self rescue, contact rescue and live bait rescue training. With the recent warm weather, water levels are rising quickly, and the water is moving much faster. If your going to be in or near creeks and rivers, wear your personal flotation devices, and know your surroundings.
