Castle Rock Foxfield Drive Gas Leak

At 13:54 on December 18th, 2018 Douglas Regional 911 Communications Center dispatched Castle Rock Fire Rescue to a cut gas line at 1918 Foxfield Dr. Initial reports were of a cut to the main gas line to the house and Ops 3 was assigned prior to arrival. Units arrived on scene at 14:02 and began investigating. A work crew on scene made contact with Battalion 151 and confirmed that they had made contact with a gas line with their digging equipment. Quint 151 confirmed that an unknown sized gas line was cut on the on the A/B corner of the residence. Black Hills Energy arrived at 14:03 and authorized the work crew on scene to dig for the buried line to locate it with Castle Rock units on standby. The line was located and clamped at 15:20.
