Centennial MVA

On November 16th, 2018 MetCom dispatched out South Metro Fire Rescue responded to a traffic accident at Peoria St. and Caley Ave. in Centennial. After 2 cars collided in the intersection one of them left the roadway and came to rest on a metal fence, teetering above a storm water pond. With only 3 wheels on the ground Firefighters quickly assisted the driver to safety and transported them to the hospital with minor injuries. A SMFR Fleet Maintenance unit was in the area and also responded; their winch was used to prevent the vehicle from falling into the water. No other injuries occurred and a tow truck safely removed the vehicle.
