Commerce City Structure Fire

At 20:38 on August 2nd, 2018 Adcom alerted South Adams County Fire Department to a structure fire in the 6100 block of East 63rd Pl. in Commerce City. Occupant reported smoke in the hallway, Commence City Police Department arrived on scene with heavy smoke and flames from the roof. Engine 22 arrived on scene of a single story, medium sized structure with smoke showing from the roof on the Alpha – Delta side. Engine 22 pulled a 1.75 handline to the Charlie side for extinguishment, and reported that the fire was in the wall with smoke coming from the eves and fire through the roof. Chief 22 requested a working fire tone and assigned Truck 24 to pull a second line in from Engine 22, Engine 11 arrived and pulled a third line of Engine 22 for fire control on the Charlie side. EMS 21 reported multiple patients with smoke inhalation, and Ambulance 203 & Ambulance 208 transported 2 patients. Crews got the fire out and started overhaul, the cause of the fire is under investigation.
