Denver Under Construction Fire

At 18:40 on January 26th, 2018 the Denver Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire in the 3200 block of W. 21st Ave. Chief 6 arrived on scene at 3247 W. 31st Ave, to a 3 story multi-family structure under construction with smoke showing on the Alpha side. Engine 12 arrived and started fire attack, Truck 12 as primary. Engine 20 established the water supply at 21st Ave and Irving, and pulled in a back-up line for fire attack, Tower 1 arrived and assigned utilities and assist Truck 12 with search. Crews found fire in the basement area and chased fire to the second floor. Engine 20 advised that the main body of fire knocked but still fire going up the wall. Crews worked on hot spots with an extended overhaul. No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation.
