West Metro Outbuilding Fire

At 00:20 on November 19th, 2018 West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire with multiple calls of fire showing in the area of Ames St. & Kentucky Ave. Engine 7 en route advised JeffCom that smoke in the air from Mississippi Ave. Engine 7 arrived to a working fire in an outbuilding in the back of a residential structure, stretched a 1 3/4 attack line in with Medic 7. Engine 3 secured a water supply to Engine 7, and pulled a 2nd line off Engine 7 to the charlie side. District 2 arrived and assumed command on the Alpha-Delta corner in the defensive strategy. Crews reported a roof collapse, Medic 3 assigned as Medical and District 1 as safety. Crews completed a primary search with an all clear, and the fire was under control at 00:55, and crews started overhaul. No injuries reported and fire is under investigation.
