West Metro Attic Fire

At 10:41 on December 28th, 2018 West Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched by JeffCom to a possible structure fire in the 1300 block of Vance St. Engine 1 arrived to a small working attic fire in the offensive strategy and established their own water supply. Engine 2 and Medic 11 started fire attack in the attic and Tower 2 as primary search. District 1 arrived and assumed command on the Delta side, Engine 16 as RIT and SAM 1 secured the utilities. Crews got the fire under control and started overhaul and checked for hot spots. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
