The Larimer County Office of Emergency Management hosted their annual Emergency Preparedness and Family Safety Expo at The Ranch in Loveland (Thomas M. McKee 4H Building) on October 6th, 2018 that brought out the community of all ages to enjoy lots of activities and fun including an extrication demonstration by Loveland Fire Rescue Authority, a static helicopter display by LifeLine, and equipment displays by many agencies including the Larimer County Dive Rescue Team. Others that participated in the event were Larimer County Sheriff’s Office, Larimer County Government, Larimer County Office of Emergency Management, Colorado State Patrol, Fort Collins Office of Emergency Management, Fort Collins Police Department, City of Fort Collins Utilities, Platte River Power Authority, Windsor Severance Fire Rescue, Civil Air Patrol, American Red Cross Northern Colorado, Weld County Government, The Boy Scouts of America, Colorado 4×4 Rescue & Recovery, and others were on hand with interactive booths and information about safety and emergency preparedness.
