C-470 Equipment Fire

At 02:39 on December 7th, 2018 Metcom alerted Littleton Fire Rescue to a heavy equipment fire on C-470 west of Lucent Blvd. First arriving Engine 16 found a concrete texture curing machine with flames visible and heavy smoke drifting over the westbound lanes. For safety, traffic was briefly shut down while firefighters extinguished the fire. Battalion Chief 2 assumed command, Tower 18 staged and Medic 18 evaluated one worker for smoke inhalation who was released on scene.
