Littleton House Fire

At 14:38 on October 27th, 2018 Littleton Fire Rescue and South Metro Fire Rescue were dispatched to a reported structure fire at 3830 W. Latonka Rd. in Littleton. The RP reported a bathroom outlet on fire and smoke still visible after using an extinguisher. While companies were still en-route, the RP reported smoke showing from the side of the house, prompting Battalion 1 to upgrade to a confirmed structure fire response. First arriving Engine 13 found nothing showing, took command in the offensive strategy and investigated. Smoldering was discovered in the wall on the second floor, crews used a water can and opened up from the interior and exterior to extinguish the fire. No extension to the attic was found, no injuries occurred and the cause is under investigation.
