Littleton Kitchen Fire

At 19:30 on October 9th, 2018 Littleton Fire Rescue Engine 11, Engine 13 and Battalion 1 were dispatched to an appliance fire 3758 W. Chenango Ave. in Littleton. The 911 caller reported a microwave fire with the door open and then evacuated outside. First due Engine 11 sized up a small one-story house with smoke showing from the front door. After a 360 a working fire was discovered in the kitchen on the charlie side and the incident was upgraded to a confirmed residential structure fire. Engine 13 laid in from Chenango and Meade and Battalion 1 assumed command. All searches proved negative, no injuries occurred, and the fire was held to the kitchen.
