Loveland Grass Fire

At 02:57 on December 14th, 2018 the Loveland Emergency Communications Center (LECC) dispatched Loveland Fire Rescue Authority to a grass fire in the 2500 block of North Lincoln Avenue in Loveland. Engine 1 arrived and assigned Engine 61 to make a direct attack on an approximately ¼ acre fire in a field behind the business with a vehicle and trailer threatened. Engine 5 arrived and was assigned to protect the exposures. The fire was contained with a wet line at 03:08. Engines 1, Engine 5, and Engine 61 remained on scene to extinguish hot spots and a Cottonwood tree that was involved. Additional information was provided by Loveland Fire Rescue Authority
