Loveland Apartment Fire

At 12:39 on September 11th, 2018 Loveland Fire Rescue Authority was dispatched to the 300 block of East 10th St. on the report of smoke coming from a unit in a multi-family structure. Engine 1 arrived to a 2-story multi-family structure with smoke showing from the Delta side and pulled a green line in for fire attack, Engine 2 arrived and pulled a second line in and established a water supply. Engine 2 reported a working kitchen fire, Battalion 1 arrived and assumed command in offensive life safety. Rescue 2 arrived and assigned support (search), Tower 6 arrived and assisted Rescue 2. All searches proved negative, and Tower 6 started ventilation. Crews got a quick knock on the fire and remained on scene to ventilate adjacent units. No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation. American Red Cross also assisted with the incident.  Windsor Severance Fire Rescue Engine 3 was requested mutual aid to back-fill Loveland Station 6.
